The New Voices Board Internship Program is offered in partnership with the Tulsa Area United Way. All participants will have the opportunity to serve a one-year appointment on a TAUW agency board. Those successfully completing the program will have additional help with permanent board placements.
Leadership Tulsa is seeking candidates with under-represented racial, cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds who have the commitment to serve in volunteer board leadership roles. Participants will gain training and support through an overnight opening retreat, nine morning educational sessions and two evening mixers with board mentors.
Participants are chosen based on their application and limited to 15-25 people.
Things to know before you start the application:
You are required to provide two references. You may choose any reference you like, however, only one (1) can be from an employer. You are encouraged to use community references that are familiar with your volunteer work. The application will ask for their email address and will send them a digital reference form to complete.
You can save and come back to your application at your convenience.
